So, I got dropped right in front of this bridge. I would say that the best tactic here is to cross border on feet and have a sign of where you want to go(In my case it was Beograd) and approach every car, as the line on the border gets pretty long.

In my case no one agreed, so I stood with the sign right after the border control and was feeling desperate because it was already dark, when the guys from the border saved me. They told me they were just hesitating to take me right before the border control, but after it they pick me up and took all the way to Belgrade. Total legends. One of them, named Igor even hosted me for a night at his place! Very good experience

This is place near the entrance to the bakery.

This place is hopeless. Even though there are plenty cars with Serbian plates, and this place is right after the radar, so cars slow down and can see you, nobody of them stopped, and I've noticed that most of the cars were completely full. I took me more than 3 hours with no options but standing there and when I was about to loose all hope, a very nice Bosnian old man, who spoke German has stopped by me and took me to the border bridge between Bosnia and Serbia right after Zdvornik.

Generally, I would suggest you to avoid this place. But maybe I just had a bad luck.

It's hard to rate this spot.

Usually traffic here goes too fast, but I was lucky, because right when I started hitchhiking, the police came to control this part of the road and they had no problem with me hitchhiking there, they even suggested drivers that they stop to pick me up. So them controlling this road made traffic slow enough for cool drivers to notice me.

But overall, it has a LOT of space to stop, so it's a better spot than the one after the tunnel earlier on this road.

A small bus station. At it's exit there's a place for cars to stop, there you can stand and thumb. You are cleary seen from a distance as well. The lane isn't very wide tho but still the drivers stop. Got a ride at 18:00 o clock in 30 mins halfway to Sarajevo, but many drivers go as far as Mostar.

Cross the bridge and turn left towards Belgrade, walk and thumb and a car should pull in after a while

Good place for going south to Zvornik, Bajina Basta or Uzice. You can catch vehicles which go to both roads (through Banja Koviljaca or around).

No luck here! With a sign "Sarajevo", no one stopped in 5hours I was there, and had to stop due to heavy rain. The next day, decided to walk a bit north to Karakaj, where I had a much better experience, and people seemed more willing to take me , acknowledging me more and got a ride in 30min directly to my destination.

After a failed attempt in Zvornik, I decided to move a bit north. Here there's plenty of traffic, people were acknowledging my presence way more and there's space for cars to stop. Stayed right in front of the cemetery's small entry, with a sign "Sarajevo" which got me directly there
